The cause · why this programme exists
Romania has the lowest level of digital skills in the European Union. For many young people in Vrancea, their first serious contact with programming comes through us.

What we actually do
International curriculum: networking, cybersecurity, IT Essentials. Globally recognised certifications — the only Cisco academy in Vrancea County.
Cohorts aged 7–14 from partner schools. From algorithmic thinking to their first games and apps of their own.
Marty the Robot comes into the classroom: physical programming, motors, sensors — technology becomes tangible.
Young people understand how AI models work — critical, ethical and responsible use, not just consumption.
200+ kits donated. 100 young people built air and water sensors in the Eco Tech Kids programme.
The first local civic hackathon in Adjud: prototypes for real community problems, October–November 2025.

Yes, completely free. The Digital Education & AI Training Hub programme (360+ participants, funded by Fondation Orange) offers free access to Cisco NetAcad, Code.org and Marty robotics for young people in Vrancea.
Asociația Grupul Verde programmes are open from age 7 (Code.org, Scratch) up to age 25 (Cisco NetAcad). No prior knowledge is needed for the introductory courses.
